Essential/Key Duties and R&R Addendum:
Hub/Warehousing/ContractLogistics:
· Lead defined solutions from an inventory perspective to ensure correct execution of operational level
· Recommend changes that will eliminate or greatly reduce inaccuracies from reoccurring.
· Ensure the root cause of discrepancies and other related inventory errors are being identified and resolved
· Drive process improvements to reduce costs
· Initiate, define and review documentation of processes and relevant projects.
· Support any audits requested by customer
· Ensure DN creation / PGR / PGI activities for Principal / Principal Site transactions for Hub sales / hub returns / part rework / sorting conversions is completed on time and will help out when necessary.
· Drive process to set up Hub vendors in SAP by working with cross functional team
· For future EDI development, understanding functional SAP process flows and facilitate UAT(User Acceptance Testing), drive IT development for process and / or documentation
· Review 3PL yearly performance KPIs/QBRs
· Ensures the warehouse billing invoices are correctly validated
· Review and approve month end cost accruals prepared by direct report to finance for closing
Logistics/Freighting:
· Lead defined solutions from a logistics/freighting/transportationperspective to ensure correct execution of operational level
· Recommend changes that will eliminate or greatly reduce inefficiencies and/or inaccuracies from reoccurring.

· Review LSP yearly performance KPIs/QBRs

SUMMARY
The SCSM will be the expert about the supply chain as it relates to their designated market segment. This role is strategic in nature and will require a good technical understanding of not only the supplier’s products and roadmaps but also about their applications. The successful SCSM will have intimate knowledge about industry price points across the competitive landscape of solutions and must be a good negotiator. This position includes situational analysis, strategic development, guidance and implementation as it relates to identification of strategic design partners. All strategies should support the overall needs of the specific development segment being addressed and be complementary to Jabil’s overall Supply Chain Management goals. The SCSM will work closely with the JTS Product Directors to closely match development architectures with supplier road maps.

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
Supply Chain Team Guidance:
· Provide market cost guidance on key architectural components during the RFQ process
· Identify competitive functional alternatives during the architectural definition stages of the project
· Work closely with Director or Product Architecture to match Jabil and customer road maps to supplier road maps
Communication:
· Provide a periodic communication forum for the exchange of ideas and information with the supply chain team.
· Organize verbal and written ideas clearly and use an appropriate business style.
SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Market Segment Strategy and Direction:
· Analyze the market segment needs, develop an appropriate supply chain strategy, and recommend a course of action to the appropriate Corporate Commodity Managers (CCM)
· Compare the segment supply chain strategy and development needs to the current Jabil strategic supply base. Then identify the supply chain weaknesses and establish a plan of action
· Identify potential Jabil strategic design partners and foster close relationships at all levels of the organizations
Cost Management:
· Define, develop and make effective use of cost analysis tools.
· Develop and provide market based intelligence to the team for the appropriate segment
· Lead key negotiations for core system blocks within each RFQ or awarded development program
· Negotiate favorable pricing, payment terms, and advanced supply chain optimization programs such as supplier-owned inventory, Just-in-Time delivery schedules, reduced lead times and cancellation terms, return privileges, and EDI/SIS demand communication with key suppliers falling outside JABIL’S strategic supplier base.
TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management
· Work in concert with Supply Chain Project Managers (SCPM) on assigned programs
· Assist in executing the RFQ as appropriate for the program
· In collaboration with Commodity Management, lead the effort to obtain full commodity and sourcing control of BOM and AVL in the design phase.
· Execute Jabil’s Early Supplier Involvement program.
Customer Service and Business Development
· Become the Jabil supply chain expert as it relates to the particular market segment and strategy
· Work closely with the Director of Systems Architecture to develop new design opportunities with new and existing customers
· Anticipate and meet/exceed customer expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively. Make program and customer service issues the top priority.
· Represent Jabil’s materials team in a professional manner during program meetings, audits, presentations and conference calls.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
