Primary Responsibilities
- Lead a team responsible for accounting functions for the entire Group
- Review GL, AR & AP transactions
- Review Corporate/Trust bank transactions and trust reconciliation
- Prepare Group consolidated reports
- Prepare and/or review management & analytical reports
- Responsible for all sales tax and corporate tax matters
- Lead external audit process and statutory compliance
- Assist with annual budgets
- Provide guidance, coaching and on-the-job training to upscale team capabilities, skills and knowledge.
- Automate processes
- 5+ years of professional experience, and a minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a similar role (banking and/or payments experience considered favorably)
- Degree qualified or completion of CMA, CPA or CA
- Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), familiarity with data query/data management tools is extremely desirable
- Experienced and motivated working in fast-paced, high-energy environments with specific experience in multi-national businesses
- Experience in Oracle Financials (preferred) or other management accounting software
- A “hands on” approach and result oriented
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
