Take day to day professional responsibility for the support and management of patients requiring pain management, providing safe delivery of quality patient care, expert advice on acute pain
management for inpatients to multidisciplinary colleagues and manage a caseload.

Be responsible for autonomous assessment, investigation, diagnosis and management of up to 3000 patients per year (if working a standard 37.5-hour week). This patient case load will present with a variety of previously undiagnosed acute injuries and illness, the emergency practitioner will develop individual treatment and care packages for each patient, by interpreting evidenced based clinical guidelines to assist in treatment planning. To be able to act effectively in situations of crisis to ensure safety of patients, visitors and staff and have the ability to direct other staff appropriately. Main Duties and Responsibilities: To provide high quality Physiotherapy and consultation to people within the Community Learning Disability Service. To manage a complex caseload, using evidence based/client principles to assess,,plan, implement and evaluate interventions in clinic and community settings and on home visits. To maintain clinical records To develop skills and knowledge To effectively manage the local waiting list and KPIs To provide specialist Physiotherapy advice, guidance and consultation to other professionals contributing directly to a client's formulation, diagnosis and case management plan. South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture have an award winning Swimming Development programme which delivers high quality lessons in our nine pools. Due to the continued expansion of our programme which currently delivers lessons to around 10,000 people a week, we are looking for enthusiastic, highly motivated Lead Swim Teachers who love teaching swimming to a variety of abilities and age groups through out South Lanarkshire Pools.

All successful candidates should have a Scottish Swim Teacher Qualification (SSTQ) or SQA Level 7 and will be expected to apply for PVG Scheme registration and complete induction before commencing any paid work.

Ensure at all times the maintenance of Patient and Staff confidentiality in line with the Trust’s policies and procedures.

To priorities own workload and can resolve any conflicting deadlines and schedules independently.

To liaise with Learning & Development Department to book suitable classroom sessions, meeting venues and equipment.

To provide 1st line support regarding IG information with patients/staff requiring tact and diplomacy at all times; communicates complicated information to staff from other department

To manage own workload and to work independently with minimal supervision

To travel to different sites in the East Lancashire footprint as service requires

To follow policies in own role and have good understanding of the IG policies and may have to comment or advise other staff accordingly

to process good knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs and excellent keyboard skills

To undertake any other duties as defined by the Information Governance Manager and Information Governance Support Officer

This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, self-motivated individual to be lead in the delivery of a wide range of people focused interventions in order to achieve improved outcomes for both staff satisfaction and retention. Embedded within our People Directorate and working closely with the ICS Retention Lead & NHS England National Retention Programme, this role will have a critical part to play in the embedding and evaluation of a suite of interventions reflecting the People Promise and based on the needs of local staff groups.

To establish psychological input within the Neonatal MDT The focus of the work will evolve over time and will be dependent on capacity but might include: Establishing a model of working psychologically on the unit and working under supervision to develop appropriate governance arrangements Providing specialist psychological assessment and therapy for infants and their families. This complex work will often involve supporting families at their most vulnerable time, including in the context of life changing diagnoses or bereavement Offering training, advice and consultation on the psychological care of infants and families to non-psychologist colleagues Offering psychological support to staff working in a complex and challenging environment Working autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the teams policies and procedures Collaborating with colleagues in the community to improve the pathway of support for families. Utilising research skills for audit, policy and service development and research Being regularly responsible for providing training placements for trainee Clinical Psychologists Collaboratively identifying service priorities and taking the lead on agreed elements of service development and delivery.

Your role: - Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care given in partnership with children and their families.- Assist families to care for their child's daily living requirements.- Take an active role in the multi-disciplinary and multi-agency team.- Participate in all mandatory training and support junior staff and students.
