I am seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead a busy Payroll department within a large Chesterfield based organisation. As the Payroll Manager, you will oversee payroll processing, production, and system maintenance and development. Your role is crucial in ensuring accurate and timely payroll services while maintaining compliance with all legal requirements.

• Conduct training sessions for new users and refresher sessions for existing users on Timesoft system navigation, features, and updates.

Subsidies, Claims Processing, Tax Compliance and Submission:

• Manage and process government-related subsidies and claims, including maternity claims, paternity claims, childcare leave, foreign worker levy waivers, and other relevant subsidies.
• Ensure accurate calculation and verification of subsidy amounts, eligibility criteria, and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with HR, finance, and legal teams to ensure compliance with government regulations and policies.
• Coordinate and facilitate IRAS income tax submissions for employees, including timely filing of tax returns, tax deductions, and exemptions.
• Calculate and process tax-related allowances, and benefits in accordance with tax laws and regulations.
• Provide guidance and support to employees on tax-related inquiries and compliance matters

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• A minimum Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Possess a positive work attitude.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong grasp of payroll principles, tax regulations, and labor laws.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.

Your new company
Your new company are a well-known Not-For-Profit organisation, with their head office in Swansea.

Your new role
Your new role will be to;

• Strategically supervise and motivate the Payroll team.
• Review the workload of other members of the Payroll team.
• Manage your own payroll deadlines.
• Working knowledge of managing a high-volume payroll.
• Act as the point of contact for any escalated matters within the department.
• Review, monitor and implement new processes to improve the department.
• Ensuring service levels are met whilst maintaining strong relationships and an accurate Payroll function.
• Ensuring Payroll Compliance.
• Specialist knowledge and experience running all aspects of a Payroll function.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will need;

• Extensive experience of Payroll and supervision/management within the team.
• Capable of liaising with stakeholders and management.
• Proven ability to both lead and motivate those within the department.
• Be available to start a new role within the next 2 weeks.
