If so, join us as a Project Controller and you’ll join one of the most exciting and ambitious projects within EDF, as we continue to lead the rebirth of nuclear in the UK.
The Opportunity...
At Hinkley Point C (HPC) we are building two new nuclear reactors, the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in the UK providing low carbon electricity for around six million homes.
EDF EPR Engineering UK (EPR-E) established in 2023, oversees the design (basic design) and the realisation (studies, procurement, erection, testing and commissioning) of nuclear islands for new projects.
EPR-E is responsible for delivering the design for a number of NI and CI-BOP buildings, systems and equipment contracts for the Hinkley Point C EPR Project through an integrated team, support to HPC construction and commissioning activities, and preparing design replication feasibility and engineering activities for the Sizewell C Project. Therefore, a Technical Directorate is being created, responsible for the engineering disciplines and technical expertise required to deliver the different engineering projects through integrated teams in EPR-E.
As a Project Controller you will be collaborating closely with delivery managers to develop and monitor robust cost estimations throughout the delivery phase, effectively managing risks, opportunities, and project timelines. You’ll be assisting in the preparation of reporting and delivery governance meetings and will play a vital role in providing CI-BOP managers with a comprehensive overview of the project's status, helping to ensure informed decision-making and successful project outcomes.
