Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Computer Hardware Engineer to join our team! The Computer Hardware Engineer will design and plan digital hardware systems to research, develop, engineer, prototype, test and accomplish systems integration for counter-unmanned aircraft systems (C-UAS) in a model-based systems engineering (MBSE) environment. Their computer hardware designs and upgrades serve to outpace the threat and win in complex multi-domain environment by reducing ground segment size and weight while increasing modularity, commonality, and information throughput to enhance responsiveness to the warfighter for prototype and fielded systems supporting the TENCAP E3I mission.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Design, develop, and deliver integrated digital hardware solutions suitable for tactical operations including the capability to operate in deployed austere field conditions
- Deliver digital hardware solutions for usage in test beds, prototypes, and pre-production experimentation, and testing.
- Design, develop, and deliver integrated digital hardware solutions for classified enclaves.
- Develop new/upgraded hardware to address requirement changes, increased performance requirements, and threat changes while maintaining applicable usability and accessibility standards to enable operator understanding, control and analysis.
- Create factory acceptance test plans for each iteration of digital hardware.
- Assists the Government in strategic technical planning, project management, performance engineering, risk management and interface design.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility
- BS degree in one of the Computer Sciences or Engineering disciplines
- Candidates with greater than 5 years’ experience performing Computer Hardware engineering in support for C-UAS systems, or other related Emerging Technologies will be considered in lieu of degree requirements
- Able to execute assignments that are broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining methodology for task accomplishment
- Able to operate with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems
- Able to contribute to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Active TS clearance with SCI
- MS degree in one of the Computer Sciences or Engineering disciplines
- 10+ years of specific work execution experience in Computer Hardware engineering
- Experience with C-UAS and/or Digital Signal Processing software and hardware
- Experience leading major technology assignments
- Able to evaluate performance results and recommend major changes affecting short-term project growth and success
- Experience functioning as a technical expert across multiple project assignments
- Experience supervising others

Salary Range:
$83,300.00 - $227,900.00
